  • OAuth data: if you sign in via Google, we store your Google account ID and authentication tokens.
  • User content: builds you upload (titles, descriptions, images, LEGO set numbers), collections, enhancement requests, and likes.
  • Usage data: timestamps of account creation, content submissions, and interactions.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the PieceClick service.
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
  • To send transactional emails (password resets, email verification, enhancement notifications you opt into).
  • To display your public builds and username to other users.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared with:

  • Service providers: email delivery (Resend), hosting infrastructure, and the Rebrickable API for LEGO set data.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (builds, collections, likes, enhancement requests) are permanently removed.

5. Cookies & Sessions

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You may:

  • Update or correct your profile information at any time.
  • Delete your account and all associated data from the Profile page.
  • Opt out of enhancement email notifications from your profile settings.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including password hashing, CSRF protection, Content Security Policy headers, and encrypted connections (HTTPS).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.

LEGO® is a registered trademark of the LEGO Group of companies. PieceClick is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO Group. The LEGO name is used solely for identification purposes under nominative fair use.
