Community Guidelines

PieceClick is a community of LEGO enthusiasts who share their custom builds and creative enhancements. To ensure everyone has a positive experience, please follow these guidelines.

1. Be Respectful

  • Treat all community members with kindness and respect.
  • No harassment, hate speech, bullying, or personal attacks.
  • Constructive criticism is welcome; unconstructive negativity is not.
  • Respect others' builds and creative choices.

2. Share Original Content

  • Only upload builds that you have personally created or modified.
  • Do not claim others' work as your own.
  • Give credit when you are inspired by another builder's design.
  • Do not use copyrighted images or content without permission.

3. Keep It Family-Friendly

  • All content must be appropriate for all ages.
  • No explicit, violent, or disturbing content.
  • No builds depicting real-world violence, weapons intended to harm, or offensive symbols.

4. Quality Submissions

  • Provide clear, well-lit photos of your builds.
  • Include accurate descriptions and set information.
  • Tag your builds appropriately to help others find them.
  • Avoid duplicate submissions of the same build.

5. Constructive Comments

  • Leave helpful and encouraging comments on others' builds.
  • Ask questions about building techniques respectfully.
  • No spam, advertising, or self-promotion in comments.
  • Stay on topic within comment threads.

6. No Spam or Commercial Activity

  • Do not use PieceClick for commercial advertising or selling.
  • No repetitive posting or mass following/unfollowing.
  • No link spam or affiliate marketing.

7. Report Violations

  • Use the Report button to flag content that violates these guidelines.
  • Do not engage with rule-breakers directly; let moderators handle it.
  • False reports may result in action against your account.

8. Content Moderation

PieceClick uses automated systems to keep the community safe:

  • Automatic scanning: All builds and comments are automatically scanned for prohibited content, spam, and low-quality posts (including gibberish and emoji spam).
  • Temporary hold: Content that triggers our detection systems is temporarily hidden from public view until reviewed by a moderator.
  • Community reports: Content that receives multiple reports from community members may also be temporarily held for review.
  • False positives: If your content is held in error, a moderator will restore it promptly. You do not need to re-submit.

9. Consequences

Violations of these guidelines follow a progressive strike system:

  • 1st & 2nd strike: Content is removed and a warning is recorded on your account.
  • 3rd strike: Content is removed and your account is temporarily suspended for 24 hours.
  • 4th strike: Content is removed and your account is temporarily suspended for 48 hours.
  • 5th strike and beyond: Your account is permanently banned.

Severe violations (hate speech, explicit harmful content, etc.) may result in immediate permanent action regardless of strike count.

During a suspension, you will be unable to log in or access any features. Strikes do not expire.
