Ninjago City Markets – Working Tram

I motorized the tram of my Ninjago City Markets set using only LEGO motorized components, no third-party parts, check the video here.

What You’ll Need

  • LEGO Hub
  • LEGO motor (Powered Up compatible)
  • LEGO Powered Up app (for phone control)

 Build Notes

  • The Markets build needs slight modification (remove the elevator)
  • Motor components are integrated into the structure
  • I also designed a custom tree to hide the motor as cleanly as possible (see build above)

Features & Code

  • Tram runs automatically in a loop (end-to-end, then back)
  • Manual control via the app
  • Button trigger for a horn sound
  • I’ve included the control code and a demo video
